We are a group of students who want to build community, highlight planners of color in their fields, and uplift the incredible work people all around us are generating.
We are a group of students who want to build community, highlight planners of color in their fields, and uplift the incredible work people all around us are generating.
The purpose of this organization is to unite Black, Indigenous, and students of color from historically marginalized backgrounds who share common interests in urban planning. This includes specializations such as urban design, food systems, gerontology, transportation, land use, affordable housing, economic development, environment, and community development. This organization is meant to be a space for community building, fostering connections in planning-related career fields, and diving deeper into the impacts of urban planning on historically marginalized peoples.
Our community agreements are currently under development. Please check back in the future for updates.
