Nutan Sharma, Chair
Hello everyone! I am the Chair for the Organizational Budget Council (OBC)! Along with the rest of the OBC, I review policies and funding practices to ensure they are student-centered, sustainable, and fair. I'm an undergraduate Biochemistry Student on the Pre-Medicine Track, and I’m part of the Women's Collaboration for Pre-Health Students (WCPH), Pre-Medicine Student Association (PREMSA), and the Bioethics Club at PSU. In my free time, I enjoy learning new languages, biking, and swimming. The fastest way to reach me is via Google Chat, but feel free to email me at nutan@pdx.edu. Irina Jan, Vice Chair
Hi everyone!
I’m Irina, your OBC Vice Chair for 2026-27! I oversee policies and procedures, ensuring that our guidelines are applied transparently and consistently across all budgets.
I’m in my final year at PSU studying marketing and graphic design, which means I love creative problem-solving and finding ways to improve the user experience! I also have plenty of leadership and event planning experience with the Hong Kong Student Association and the Atmos program in the School of Business.
Outside of school, you can find me picking fruit (ask me for recs!), planning my next vacation, and bouldering.

Zainab Fatima, Operations Director
Hello! I am the Operations Director for the Organization Budget Council (OBC), where I coordinate agendas, minutes, correspondence, and record-keeping, as well as support student organizations and advise on check-ins. I am a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with plans to pursue a career in Forensic Science. Additionally, I serve as the co-president of South Asian Unity and as the treasurer of Uplift: Students in STEM. My office hours are Tuesday 11:00 am -1:00 pm in-person and Thursday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Zoom.
Aaliyah Dorsey, Accounting Director
Hi everyone!
I’m honored to serve as the Accounting Director for the 2026–2027 Organization Budget Committee. In this role, I help oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and support accurate financial processes to help ensure student organization funds are managed responsibly. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting at Portland State University. Outside of OBC, I serve as the President of the West African Student Association, where I’ve developed strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills. In my free time, I enjoy singing, rollerblading, and watching YouTube.

Orobosa Ekhator, Communications Director
I serve as the communications director for the Organization Budget Council (OBC) 2026/2027. I am a third-year computer science PhD student at PSU. My role generally involves sending out emails for our weekly meeting, managing the website, among many other things. I also serve on the student health advisory board(SHAB) at PSU. I enjoy shopping, trying new cuisines, and watching movies. Feel free to drop in during my office hours to ask questions.
