The 5th Avenue Cinema exists to operate and promote the 5th Avenue Cinema; the only operating college cinema in Oregon and a very beloved part of the PSU community. It is our mission to be a center of film on campus and within the city of Portland.Our central functions are: To host weekly screenings of historically and/or artistically significant films; To foster community for students interested in film; To support student filmmakers and show their work at the cinema; To provide a free venue for student groups and non-profits that wish to show a film; To collaborate with other local film organizations; To provide a valuable educational experience for the students that staff the cinema; To continually improve the 5th Avenue Cinema which has been existence since the 1970s.

The PSU Accounting Club welcomes all students majoring, minoring, or pursuing a certificate in accounting at Portland State University. We are also open to community college students who are interested in exploring the world of accounting. The Chapter is formed to advance the objectives of the Advancing Indigenous Science & Engineering Society, hereafter called Society, at Portland State University, which are as follows: to stimulate and develop American Indian and Pacific Islander student interest in science and engineering: to strive in promoting participation at all levels of responsibility in the fields of science and engineering by the American Indian and Pacific Islander communities; and to endeavor in the advancement of the American Indian and Pacific Islander professional students and engineers within the individual scientific and engineering disciplines. Creating a welcoming space, regardless of background or discipline.

Section 1: Membership in the PSU chapter of AISES is open to all PSU students.
Section 2: Membership in the National chapter of AISES shall at all times conform to the rules set in the By-laws and Code.
Section 3: Each member shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to the Chapter.
Section 4: The Chapter “in no aspect of its programs shall there be any difference in the treatment of persons because of race, creed, color, national origin, disability, age, gender, any consideration based on affectional, sexual, or associated preference, or any other classification which would deprive the person of consideration as an individual.” The organization will guarantee that equal opportunity and access to membership, programming, facilities, and benefits shall be open to all persons.

Alpha Chi Omega strives to create an environment that values empathy, inclusion, and awareness. We hold these principles in the foundation upon which the chapter was built and continues to maintain. The real, strong women we recruit raise awareness for domestic violence through our partnership with a local women's shelter, Rose Haven, and by hosting various philanthropic events during the year. Sisters of Alpha Chi Omega graduate with skills in leadership, learning, and service. We uphold our five standards, which are character, personal development, financial responsibility, academic interest, and leadership ability. The Portland State University Student Chapter of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) provides learning and professional networking opportunities for students focused on applied geology that prepares them to become practicing geologists. Learning opportunities include: information about necessary licensure for practicing geologists- ASBOG, professional talks on geologic/ geology adjacent case studies by both academic and professional speakers, networking tips, resume advice and more. AEG also facilitates networking opportunities with the local agency and industry professionals through a variety of local professional meetings such as the local professional chapter of AEG. At AEG meetings, students can receive information about the types of work being done in the fields of environmental, engineering, and hydro-geology. Students can learn about these areas of practice and the wide variety of job types and career opportunities, as well as establish rapport with local agencies. While this program is geared more towards geologists, AEG has members across Geology, Engineering, and Environmental Science, and welcomes any PSU student who feels they can benefit from the activities of the club.

Athletic & Outdoor (A&O) Connect at Portland State University connects students with athletic and outdoor industry leaders and resources to create lasting relationships and build strong networks. Our goal is to bridge the gap from academia to career by establishing an environment of shared learning, engagement opportunities, and lasting relationships with mentors, peers, faculty, and industry professionals. Throughout the school year, A&O Connect hosts a variety of events such as speaker engagements, networking events, and HQ campus tours, partnering with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Under Armour, Keen, Adidas and more!
