About Us
The Chapter is formed to advance the objectives of the Advancing Indigenous Science & Engineering Society, hereafter called Society, at Portland State University, which are as follows: to stimulate and develop American Indian and Pacific Islander student interest in science and engineering: to strive in promoting participation at all levels of responsibility in the fields of science and engineering by the American Indian and Pacific Islander communities; and to endeavor in the advancement of the American Indian and Pacific Islander professional students and engineers within the individual scientific and engineering disciplines. Creating a welcoming space, regardless of background or discipline.
