Join us for an immersive program in Copenhagen and Amsterdam exploring how legal systems, cultural values, and social policies shape approaches to sex work, human trafficking, and public safety. Through site visits, lectures, walking tours, and conversations with scholars, practitioners, activists, and lived-experience experts, you’ll examine diverse approaches to criminal justice and harm reduction across Northern Europe.

Explore the connections between human trafficking, sex work, globalization, law, human rights, and social policy while comparing legal systems and approaches in Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students, this program is especially suited for students interested in criminology, criminal justice, social work, political science, public administration, women’s and gender studies, human rights, and public policy.
