Mission
KPSU is Portland's college radio - broadcasting non-commercial, student run, and freeform radio since 1994. KPSU is dedicated to amplifying the voice and experience of students at Portland State University through radio broadcasting of free-format programming. We strive to engage the greater Portland area, present the arts and culture of Portland as a resource for PSU students, and make the voice of PSU a resource to the greater Portland community.

Mission
Vanguard is Portland State’s student-run newspaper and media outlet that seeks to empower, educate, guide, and seek truth and report it. Vanguard has been in print since 1946 and publishes content online every week. Vanguard publishes and distributes new print issues across campus every Monday during regular academic terms.

Vanguard seeks to provide fair, balanced, timely and comprehensive news and information to the PSU community. As part of a community of students attending a commuter school in the heart of downtown Portland, Vanguard also seeks to engage and enrich the greater Portland experience. This organization is committed to journalistic ethics and holds itself to a standard of media for the public good.

As a student-run publication, Vanguard provides unique hands-on learning experiences in a functioning newsroom. We encourage and uplift leaders and provide opportunities and training that translate in direct and diverse avenues in the world of professional journalism and far beyond.

Mission
Sub-Basement Studios is Portland State's student-run production house, aiming to provide students with inclusive, immersive hands-on experience in all stages of film and video production.

SBS provides an outlet for students to gain experience, reel footage, and networking opportunities within the local film industry. Our crews always have an open spot - with productions ranging from live band performances to documentaries to feature-length films, Sub-Basement Studios is the destination for any student interested in the moving image.
