Mission
The purpose of this organization is to unite students in the common interest of supporting Chinese students and scholars at PSU. This organization will strengthen connections between Chinese students and scholars to help them adapt and enjoy their lives in Portland. The CSSA also engages with the community to provide cultural connections and exchange with people interested in learning more about Chinese culture.

The first "cafe mortel" was founded in 2004 by a Swiss anthropologist, later taking off in England and beyond in 2011. Ideally with cake and tea, it is meant for like minded and curious people to come together to discuss death and dying.

We are striving to foster this environment at PSU through discussions, film screening, readings, guest speakers and more. The topic of death is vast and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions, or better yet come to a club meeting and learn from your peers!

As a student organization we want to emphasize this is a space for education and advocacy. We encourage you to check out SHAC if you are ever in need of a more professional support system for dealing with grief or other mental health situations.

Mission
Portland has a deep electronic dance music (EDM) subculture. As students of PSU, we want to bring those like-minded individuals together and show that raving and EDM is more than social media posts. We strive to demonstrate how the EDM community better the overall community at PSU and beyond. Meetings and informational posts from our social media are targeted to bring awareness to campus-based artists, creatives, and highlight events that are important to us. Our goal is to break down the stigmas within the EDM community. A mantra we hold dearly is Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect (PLUR) which holds great importance to how we present ourselves in and out of the community.

Mission
Ratio Christi is a student organization that seeks to (1) Strengthen the faith of Christian students and faculty by equipping them to give reasons and evidence for their beliefs, (2) Offer skeptics, atheists and agnostics a non-threatening place in which to discuss their objections to the claims of Christianity as well as ask questions, and (3) Host campus-wide events featuring Christian thinkers, apologists, scientists, and philosophers in lectures and debates. Our aim is to represent the intellectual viability of the Christian worldview on the university campus and beyond.

We are a student-led coalition at Portland State University dedicated to advancing justice, liberation, and collective care across campus and beyond. Rooted in the core values of Social Work, we strive to center the voices and experiences of those historically and presently marginalized—Black, Indigenous, and other people of color; disabled people; queer and trans communities; immigrants; survivors of state and interpersonal violence; and all those disempowered by systemic oppression.



Our mission is to foster a community grounded in anti-oppressive practice, mutual aid, and collective care. We create opportunities for learning, volunteerism, peer support, and experiential growth—particularly for students preparing for social work and justice-centered careers. We believe that neutrality in the face of injustice upholds harm, and we welcome those committed to building a liberatory, inclusive future for all.
