[ Five people stand on sand in front of a shallow, blue lake, and sand covered hills. On the right is a shirtless man wearing a loincloth, with a satchel slung over his shoulder, and a golden headpiece with flowing fabric around his ears, and two horns atop that are curved towards his back. To his left is another man, wearing a baggy, one-piece, yellow coat, with a red hat. Only the man’s head and hands are visible beneath the coat. To his left stands another figure, in a sleeveless black top, with the yellow, rectangular pattern lace along their chest and abdomen. They also wear a black, flowing skirt, and wide-brimmed, black hat with black fabric draped over their shoulder. Their upper face is obscured by a red mask. To their left is another man in with poofy, lime-green pants, brown boots, a green, long-sleeved shirt and bright green cape, and a green turban. In each hand he looks a long sword. Finally, on the far left of the picture is a man wearing a brown fedora, a white shirt, and a red and white fur coat with brown spots. This man has black rubber boots. Widely considered one of the most visually stunning movies ever made without CGI, The Fall continues to capture audiences with its fantastical visual feast. Utilizing the landscapes of 28 countries to blur the lines between surrealistic storytelling and very real suffering, a little girl in a hospital befriends a paralyzed ex-stuntman, who tells her about 5 mystical heroes out to kill a man named Odious. She gets attached to the world he builds, and his manipulative ulterior motive reveals a common relationship to natural medicine within the medical industry. The vivid colors on screen complement the childlike wonder, but the story begins to deteriorate as his mental health does.

“This region was once a lush forest alive with birds and sacred trees, but Odious had them all burned down.”
