Photo is in black and white. A man in a suit with slicked-back hair leans over a grand piano. His eyes are closed, and his outstretched hands clutch onto the smooth surface of the piano’s lid. Behind him, a wooden shelf with three rows and three columns stands. It has five round plates standing upright, one per box, in the arrangement you would find on a die. Revel in the camp, the surreal, and the unsettling short films by Georges Méliès, Segundo de Chomón and others followed by a presentacion of The Hands of Orlac (1924) -- a German expressionist early body horror film starring Conrad Veidt. The program will cover over three decades of cinema from 1896 - 1929.
