Join EDG and guest speaker, Alice Eberharter, for an engaging conversation about how advocacy, collective action, and equity intersect in our workplaces and communities.

About Alice:
Alice Eberharter is a PSU Speech & Hearing Sciences graduate, school-based SLP, and President of the David Douglas Education Association. She brings over a decade of experience in education and a strong commitment to advocacy, equity, and collective action.

Event Details:
Drawing from her experiences as a school-based SLP and union leader, Alice will explore:
1. How working conditions impact the people we serve
2. What unions can—and cannot—do
3. The power of individual and collective advocacy
4. Connections between workers’ rights, disability rights, equity, and social justice

We’ll also have time for questions, conversation, and reflection on what advocacy can look like in our own professions.
