Details

PIAAA Palooza aims to celebrate and elevate the cultural arts of Asian and Pacific Islander communities by highlighting the creative expressions that carry history, identity, and community knowledge. By bringing together college students from diverse backgrounds, the event will foster a deeper understanding of API cultures through visual art, performance, music, storytelling, and hands-on creative experiences.
This event will serve as a platform for students to engage with cultural arts as living practices—honoring ancestral traditions while amplifying contemporary API voices. Through participation and shared learning, PIAAA Palooza will strengthen cultural pride, promote cross-cultural appreciation, and reinforce the importance of arts as a tool for connection, education, and community building.
