About Us
The formation of a Somali Student Association was motivated by the aspiration to provide fellow Somali students with access to a community that is encouraging and active. This association will act as a cultural hub by providing a location for students to celebrate their heritage through activities that highlight Somalia's rich history, art, and language. This space will be made available to students by this association. This will help to create an atmosphere in which members can thrive and achieve their full potential. It is intended to foster long-lasting friendships, chances for networking, and other activities that will contribute to the development of a strong feeling of community among Somali students. Additionally, the group will be responsible for promoting understanding of Somali culture and fighting for the specific requirements of Somali students. Educational programs, community service, and outreach projects will further contribute to the overall development of its members, thereby enhancing the members' college experience and instilling in them a feeling of pride in their cultural identity. Our association will help bridge the gap between Somali PSU students and PSU students.
