The ASL (American Sign Language) Club at Portland State University is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for individuals interested in learning and practicing ASL, regardless of their proficiency level. The club aims to bridge the gap between the hearing and the Deaf communities, particularly focusing on the rich Deaf culture within the Portland Metro area. By organizing various activities, workshops, and events, the ASL Club provides opportunities for members to improve their ASL skills, understand Deaf culture more deeply, and engage in meaningful interactions with Deaf community members.
